Lori Anderson York received her bachelors in music education from the University of New Hampshire and her masters in vocal performance from Northwestern University. For most of her career, Lori has been performing and spent seven years singing with the San Francisco Opera Chorus. In the past five years, Lori has been teaching private voice lessons in the metrowest area. But most recently Lori and her husband, Bryan, joyously welcomed two children into their lives with the birth of their son, Harrison in 2003 and their daughter, Amelia in 2005. Lori started attending children’s music classes with Harrison and has enjoyed this experience so much she decided to start her own business. She trained with Musikgarten and became certified to teach their curriculum for ages 0-5. Her love of music, teaching, performing and children were brought together to form Little Friends Music.
